Hey, I'm Makenna!

My name is Makenna Rae Christiansen and I am a native of the best lil city in the world; Fresno, California. I’m a 32 year-old elementary educator and am proudly in my ninth year of teaching the world's raddest kids! When I’m not showing my students the ways of the world, you can find me hanging out with my partner, Cal, and our doggo Murphy, slinging beers at Tioga Sequoia, enjoying a hot yoga class at Tower Yoga, and romping around the diverse backyard of my hometown, camera in hand.

I enjoy spending time adventuring with quality folk and capturing those sweet candid moments that life provides. I am ALWAYS down to travel for photo opportunities, to seize a chance to explore new places, and meet cool people near and far along the way.

As a photo-taker, teacher, and human being, I qualify for the gift of lifelong learning, and I believe every day has something to offer us as an opportunity to expand and grow. Photography is a lens through which I can pause, reflect, and gain insight from each beautiful detail.
